Local Flowers Make Life Better!

Have you seen these stickers on bouquets at The Market recently? The Washington Flowers Project is funded by a WSDA Specialty Block Grant and aims to increase consumer awareness of where their flowers are grown and to assist in building the relationship between flower farmers, florists, designers and customers, among other things. At The Olympia Farmers Market we are truly lucky to have vendors such as Ojeda Farms, Dan’s Dahlias, Katie’s Cuts and Heaven’s Meadow Farm growing some of the most vibrant flowers in the state.

Weekly we see Olympia’s best florists and designers picking up flowers from our vendors to use in products and designs for their customers. They know where to go for the best in locally grown flowers! There will be a great selection of fresh flowers all the way until the end of October so stop by the market soon, because #localflowersmakelifebetter!

Use #washingtonflowers #localflowersmakelifebetter #waflowers hashtags on social media and tag #olympiafarmersmarket and we will feature our favorites on our social media feeds!
