Odin’s Alchemy Brewing, originally from Port Orchard, WA, is operated out of Tumwater. Odin’s recently became a vendor in February 2023. They specialize in handcrafted mead made from locally harvested honey and fruit. Odin’s harvests honey from their own hives and combines it with fresh fruit to create the fermented drink. You can find a variety of mead depending on the season. Currently, Odin’s is offering four flavors at the Market including:

• Sleeping Giant—A semi-sour mead with blueberry, lemon, and mint

• Hades—A dry-tart mead with pomegranate and orange blossom

• Hydra—A tart and refreshing mead with blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, and raspberry

• Joli Rouge—A sweet mead reminiscent of autumn and spiced apple pie

Odin’s Alchemy Brewing currently has five of their own hives that they harvest honey from. Additional honey is purchased from local beekeepers. Their goal is the use mead sales to strengthen the apiary and address the growing problem of making sure the bees survive upcoming generations. All meads sold at farmers markets are made using fruit harvested and purchased within Washington State—as local as possible—to create the final product.
